Inspirational Quotes From Thomas Edison

“Inspirational stories tend to leave impact in our hearts, we hardly forget them once we can relate to them.”
Hardly does an hour go by that you don't use something Thomas Alva Edison invented. Where do we start? Is it the electric lamp? Is it your phone? A car? The laptop? Or the voice recorder? Virtually every gadget we use today has a direct or indirect link to Thomas. Edison's 1,093 U.S. Patents and 2,332 patents worldwide can be said to be responsible for every item that uses electricity as well as the concrete in commercial buildings. Thomas created the motion picture industry, the recording industry, the X-ray machine etc. More importantly he is the father of modern corporate research & development. Bearing the name "The Wizard of Menlo Park" while he was still alive, Thomas Alva Edison was what you’ll today call a ‘Noble Scientist’.

Edison had a dogged character so strong that though Edison developed hearing problems at a very tender age, caused by scarlet fever and recurring untreated middle-ear infections, he was not deterred by it. While many people mistakenly think Edison was a better inventor than a businessman, he was a marketing guru, who started out at the age of seven selling candies, newspapers and vegetables.
Thomas Edison operated on four simple principles, taught to him by his loving mother, who quotes:
1. Never get discouraged if you fail. Learn from it. Keep trying.
2. Learn with both your head and hands.
3. Not everything of value in life comes from books, experience the world.
4. Never stop learning.

Below are some of the inspirational quotes by Thomas Edison. I hope they inspire you to make great achievements.
